The Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Saraspur, Ahemedabad, was established on 1st January, 1939 and inaugurated by late Shri Gulzarilal Nanada. The Objective of the Institute is to produce skilled manpower.

Industrial Training institute Saraspur is an ISO-9001:2000 certified institute and governed by Department of Employment and Training. The institute follows the norms constituted by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) under the guidance of Directorate of Employment and Training (DGE&T). At present, there are many schemes like NCVT, GCVT, GITW, CoE, STCC, Apparel, BPO, Smart Goal etc. are conducted by this institute.

The institute conducts different technical and non-technical courses in three shifts. There are 3 years, 2 years, 1 year, 6 months, 3 months and 2 months duration courses with 1198 intake capacity in 29 trades and 99 batches. The institute is having good infrastructure facilities, tools and equipment, trained instructors and supporting managerial staff .
